Baked Apples

Indulge in our Ayurveda-inspired Baked Apples, a comforting treat that supports digestion, balances Vata & Pitta doshas, and fuels your body with natural sweetness, almonds, walnuts, and warming spices. 

Baked Apples 

Ingredients: 

  • 4 apples, sliced (any variety based on preference) 

  • 1 tsp cinnamon 

  • A pinch of nutmeg 

  • ¼ cup chopped almonds and walnuts 

  • coconut oil 

  • ¼ cup milk (any type based on preference) 

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place sliced apples in a baking dish. 

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat on the stove. Add coconut oil and spices, then sauté the nuts for a couple of minutes. 

  1. Add milk and stir until well combined. 

  1. Pour the mixture over the apples and toss to coat evenly. 

  1. Bake until apples are golden brown and slightly crispy. 

  1. Garnish with additional nuts before serving.
